Chris Brown, Store Manager
Chris comes from a background of project management in the custom home construction industry. His experience coordinating trades and customer relations is invaluable to the service he provides to the customers of Personal Touch. When you are dealing with Chris you can expect personable, committed and honest service.
Melanie Sullivan , Floor and Window Covering Consultant
Melanie comes to us with a background in business and finance and is currently enrolled in the Interior Decorator program. She has been working with Chris and Wes for the past 10 years in the construction industry. She is excited to be on the floor helping customers make decisions with their flooring, tile and window covering needs. Melanie also enjoys doing in-home consultation so feel free to ask her to come to your home for extra assistance.
The History
Wes Brown has been in the custom home construction industry for over 18 years. Over 10 years ago, he moved back to Powell River and started his own custom home construction company, WB Contracting. WB Contracting is well known in the Powell River area for its amazing workmanship, hardworking team and its personalized customer service.
In late 2011, an opportunity presented itself to purchase a flooring and window fashion business. This was the perfect business to compliment WB Contracting and enhance the services that Wes could provide to his customers.
In December 2011, Wes, Chris and Melanie opened the doors of Personal Touch Floor and Window Fashions as the new owners of the store. Since the three of them have been in the industry in other areas of their life the learning curve was steep because it was their own business but it was also very familiar and natural. The business is open and customers are being served with the best customer service in Powell River and everyone is excited about the future.
